and Bamboo, and one African elephant, Watoto. A fourth female

I believe that the Woodland Park Zoo is suffering from the same malady
as many other "modern" zoos that are geared more toward expensive
breeding programs and garnering awards for landscaping-for which they
have to raise prices and sell overpriced merchandise and food.
The woodland park zoo is a pretty good zoo. The exihbits are nice...I
agree that the new design makes it a little harder to see animals, but
I can't blame them...I guess its good that the animals can escaped
when they don't want to be bothered.
And even though the Woodland Park Zoo is located in the middle of the
city for the most part, I have never had trouble finding parking.

Woodland Park Zoo has lead the world in
providing full immersion exhibits, where the enclosure is built with
the primary aim of providing habitat for the animals, with viewing

know about the Woodland Park Zoo is that it constantly wins awards for
the fact that they take in injured animals and nurse them back to
health and that there is hardly another zoo in the country that tries
so diligently to recreate habitats- we are lucky as

Alright kitty fans, the Woodland Park Zoo has some brand new arrivals

Pond Turtle hatchlings, I think they may have claimed the title. Born
Friday Oct. 17th, 2008 you can watch them grow on the Zoo's blog.
The Woodland Park Zoo has no shortage of babies these days. Check out
these adorable little galagos, African primates that are also known as
"bushbabies!" Their big eyes allow them to see very well at night.
