I called in and saw Trowunna Wildlife park on a recent trip to Tas as
your site recommended and am writing to tell you it is NOT HOT. I was
disgusted with the small enclosures and general run down feel of the
place, even the animlas looked unhappy.

north believes a wild devil caused the spread of facial tumour disease
to two of his captive population.
It is being regarded as a major breach of biosecurity.

young Tassie Devils are having a feed at Trowunna Wildlife Park in
Mole Creek, TAS. Amazing little creatures and an amazing group of
people working tirelessly to save them from the Facial Tumour Disease
that has halfed their population.
The Trowunna Wildlife Park is Tasmania's major devil breeding centre
and has helped manage the disease-free devil population being held on
Maria Island.
Trowunna Wildlife Park is a 40 minute drive from Sheffield in northern
Tasmania. Tasmanian Devils breed once a year at Trowunna, and during
your visit you may be fortunate enough to play with some babies that
were born in the last year.
Entry to the Trowunna Wildlife Park costs from $14 for adults and
$7.50 for children. It is open daily from 9am to 5pm.
