The Toronto Zoo is a zoo located in the Scarborough district of
Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Encompassing 287 hectares (710 acres), the Toronto Zoo is the third
largest in the world. It is divided into six zoogeographic regions:
Indo-Malaya, Africa, Americas, Australasia, Eurasia and the Canadian
Domain.
The Toronto Zoo is currently working on the North
Zoo Redevelopment. This project will be completed in four phases.

Being the 3rd largest zoo in the world(710 acres), the Toronto Zoo has
lived upto my expectations.Be prepared for a hectic day though- a lot
of walking needed. It is advisable to take tickets for Zoomobile-that
way you can travel between regional exhibits and wont miss
anything.
I love the Toronto Zoo! I've loved it since I was a little kid. Last
summer I spent an entire day at the zoo photographing the animals.
Though some of my friends think zoos are immoral and/or cruel to
animals, the animals at the Toronto Zoo seem very well cared for.

The Toronto Zoo was the highlight of my first trip to Toronto. My
boyfriend and I went there basically because I had heard all about it
and drove him nuts until he took me there.
Yesterday we visited Toronto Zoo on a marathon day trip. Marathon
because it took 7 hours of solid walking to see everything (plus it
was 31 degrees & sunny) - but really worth it.
