For a nice day outside enjoying the animals, Rolling Hills Zoo is a
great place to visit and being less than 10 miles west of Salina it is
worth the drive.

Area businesses are invited to enter the annual Corporate Scarecrow
Contest in conjunction with Pumpkin PaZoola at Rolling Hills Wildlife
Adventure.
The contest is free.
The Budweiser Clydesdales will be available for public viewing and photos at Rolling Hills Zoo from 11:30 till 1:30 on Thursday. A second showing will take place at Salina's 150th Birthday Bash Parade at 10:00 Saturday morning.

of the animals were more active than in the past. The new museum
displays were a big hit with the students since they were both
educational and fun to explore.
Rolling Hills Zoo is a home to 80 species of animals. Many of the
animals are rare or endangered in the wild. On this 145-acre property,
60 of the acres were landscaped into a beautiful park and opened to
the public.
I've been to the Rolling Hills Zoo, but I hadn't been to the museum.
Natural History museum type stuffed animals just aren't my style and

alpha male chimpanzee, died Saturday morning after a brief illness. He
was 37 years old.

Salina. From Interstate 70, take Exit 244 and go south about two
