Monkey World (situated in Wareham, Dorset UK) onto television screens
has propelled me into having a great passion for primates, so much so
that I will be taking part in conservation activities all over the
world as a volunteer to help save these fantastic creatures.
Monkey World and the numerous projects Jim and Alison set up globally,
will continue as a fitting memorial to a man whose life touched so
many around the world.

Truly love monkey world and have shed many tears of joy and saddness I
could watch it every day. I live in Ireland but hope soon to come and
visit I think the staff and Alision are wonderful people and am sure
they must really miss Jim.
Here things are very different, Monkey World is primarily a
sanctuary and not a zoo. Many of the apes here have been rescued from
desperate lives inflicted upon them by humans, often wrenched from the
wild as babies and used as objects of entertainment and income.
my partner took me to monkey world for my birthday as i watch the show
all the time.
This is the most amazing place I have been. I could not believe how
much the primates seem to enjoy their days.
went to monkey world last weekend and had a BRILLIANT time - one of
the best days out i have ever had in the UK. i'm no expert but the
monkeys looked content and well looked after.
