Marwell Wildlife is the new name for Marwell Zoological Park, and
embodies the conservation charity’s desire to unite both sides of its
organisation - an international conservation charity and a regional
tourist attraction in Hampshire - under one banner for the first time.
Marwell Wildlife provides a great way for families to spend time
together whilst enjoying and learning about the natural world. It’s
recently opened African Valley presents the perfect opportunity to
watch giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, ostrich and waterbuck up close as they
roam freely together.

Following an absence of over 10 years, Marwell Wildlife in Hampshire
has welcomed back two Brazilian tapirs into its collection. Summer and
her partner Ronaldo arrived four weeks ago as part of a European
Breeding Programme for the species.
Marwell Wildlife has in the past held Brazilian and Malayan tapirs.
Marwell has successfully bred 10 Brazilian tapir youngsters, but they
have not been in the park since the 1997.
Marwell Wildlife is open daily from 10am. It is now easier than ever
