The zoo has more than 100 species of animals located on 47 acres
(190,000 m2) inside Finnup Park and includes many animals that are
non-native to southwest Kansas. Admission is free.

Lemur Center in Durham, NC, and is on display in the Nocturnal Exhibit
in Wild Asia.

Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA) accreditation unless it expands its
elephant exhibit.
Lee Richardson Zoo can become an important part of this
progressive trend within the zoo community, which must hold itself
accountable for the animals in its care and consider their welfare a
priorityeven if it means retiring them to a more capable facility.

At just four weeks old, the Lee Richardson Zoo has shared the first
pictures of their new lion cubs, two boys and a girl. Each has a
distinct personality. One of the little boys is calm and mellow. The
other is feisty and noisy.
