The health of our river and wetland systems continues to be a widely
reported and much discussed issue across Australia.
at the Kyabram Fauna Park to celebrate World Wetlands Day which occurs
on Monday 2nd February. World Wetlands Day marks the signing of the
Convention on Wetlands on 2nd February 1971, in the Iranian City of
Ramsar.
The Kyabram Fauna Park has 33 hectares of natural and man-made
wetlands that provide habitat and breeding grounds. The Fauna Park
will be celebrating World Wetlands Day with a wide variety of fun
activities for people of all ages.
