The Nehru Zoological Park, also known as the Hyderabad Zoo, is one of
the largest zoos in India. The 380 acre zoo was established in the
city of Hyderabad in 1963 and named after the first prime minister of
the country, Jawaharlal Nehru.
On Sunday I paid a visit to the Hyderabad Zoo and it was a lovely
experience. The name of the zoo is Nehru Zoological Park and it is
present on NH7 which goes to Bangalore and it is fairly easy to find
using Google maps.
Hyderabad zoo is one of the few green places remaining in the
city.

Hyderabad zoo is one of the few green areas in the city. From Indian
standards it can be considered acceptable but compared to zoos in
developed countries, it is far far below international standards....

species Mouse Deer, also known as `Spotted Indian ChevrotainÂ’, at
Nehru
