The official opening of the Gdańsk Zoo took place on 1
May 1954. The first extension was added between the 1950s and 1960s,
thanks to the efforts of the employees and the Tricity residents. The
Zoo is still being extended and is becoming more and more beautiful.
The Gdańsk Zoo is admitting the applications of the event
participation until 15 May 2005.
