Chiang Mai Zoo was established by the The Zoological Park
Organization, Thailand in 1974.

visitors can experience the excitement and intimacy of various species
of animals in their natural habitat.
In July 2006, Chiang Mai Zoo became the first zoo in Thailand
to house koalas as Australia shipped four of the marsupials here to
mark the 60th anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the
Throne. Now, let's welcome a newborn baby koala.
Chiang Mai Zoo is the first commercial zoo in Northern Thailand. It is
located in 100 Huay Kaew Road, Chiang Mai just north of Chiang Mai
University. The zoo has been established 16 June 1977.

The Chiang Mai Zoo was one of the highlights of our visit to
Chiang Mai Zoo, which encompasses a 1,442 square metre area specially
designed to enhance kids's interactive skills and facilitate their
optimal enjoyment and appreciation of animals and the environment. The

big drawcard.

old, the cut was sprouting more white fuzz on her blunt snout but
looked more like a puppy dog than a panda.
