I am wondering if any Chessington Zoophobes have any information on the two elephants who featured in the Circus during the war and until around 1951 when they went off the radar. They were purchased from Chapmans in 1941 and were called Nellie & Margaret.

Chessington Zoo is home to a large variety of incredible animals from lions, tigers and gorillas, to selections of smaller monkeys and birds - and some more exotic animals thrown in for good measure.

Chessington Zoo & World of Adventures, before a family get-together in the hotel. We had a standard double, other members of our party had an exec room. The Hotel has an african theme, and is very well presented.
