Blair Drummond Safari Park is Scotland's only African Safari Park.
Located near Stirling the park is one of the major attractions of the
area. The safari park is overlooked by Blair Drummond House, built in
1868-1872 by J C Walker and is spread over 120 acres.
Blair Drummond Safari Park is one of the original three safari parks
to open in the UK along with Woburn and Longleat. Animals were
originally brought over from Africa to stay in the park, which opened
to visitors in 1970.

Irish Association of Zoos and Aquaria – since 2004.

I visited Blair Drummond Safari Park while on a family holiday touring
around Scotland in August 2008.
Our 2 year old was thrilled to see the animals so close and we were
lucky enough to watch feeding time in the safari park.

Blair Drummond Safari Park is situated about 4 miles from Junction 10
on the M9. It's not far from Stirling and is roughly an hours drive
from Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Glasgow, and the Loch Lomond area, Blair Drummond Safari Park is set
amidst the stunning grounds of Blair Drummond House, a late-Victorian
house that is now home to the Camphill Trust, a charity that cares for
people with special needs.

From Glasgow:
Take the A80 through Cumbernauld. Continue onto M80 towards Stirling.
