Adelaide Zoo is home to over 1,800 animals and almost 300 species of
exotic and native mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates
and fish exhibited in magnificent botanic surroundings now expanded to
8 hectares. There's plenty to see and do at Adelaide Zoo.
Adelaide Zoo is Australia's second oldest zoo, located in Adelaide,
South Australia and the only major metropolitan zoo in Australia to be
owned and operated on a non-profit basis. The zoo also owns the
Monarto open plains zoo near Murray Bridge.

Adelaide Zoo has always been a favourite of mine. Its very clean, the
animals are well looked after, and its generally a beautiful and
interesting place to visit. The Zoo opened in 1881 to the public.

Sydney's Taronga Zoo and i only spent an hour here, 40mins of which i
spent in front of the Tiger enclosure admiring the big cat's beauty.

How stupid can the Adelaide zoo get! Can’t see how this would not
have been discrimination.
